Kappel DSZ2

Perfect for lifting between scaffolding and the building envelope, the slender DSZ2 vacuum lifter is designed for glazing applications where access and working space are limited. Measuring just 180mm deep, its compact profile allows glass units to be handled in areas where a conventional vacuum lifter may be too bulky, while still providing a maximum lifting capacity of up to 750kg.

Its slim design makes the DSZ2 particularly well suited to façade installation, curtain walling and glazing projects where glass needs to be manoeuvred through narrow gaps or positioned close to the building structure. Despite its compact dimensions, the lifter provides the control and flexibility required for accurate placement of large glass panels.

The DSZ2 features a dual circuit vacuum system for secure load handling, together with 360° continuous rotation to allow glass to be easily orientated during installation. A 90° hydraulically dampened tilt provides smooth, controlled movement between horizontal and vertical positions, helping operators position loads safely and precisely.

In its standard configuration, the DSZ2 offers a 450kg safe working load. For heavier glazing units, four extension arms and additional suction pads can be fitted to increase the lifting capacity to 750kg, providing added versatility across a wide range of glass handling applications.

Compact, manoeuvrable and capable of handling substantial loads, the DSZ2 is an excellent choice for restricted-access glazing work where both lifting capacity and minimal overall depth are essential.
