2021 Geko 500 3D Head

The Geko 500 3D is a compact glazing robot built for the safe handling and installation of glass, stone, steel and other flat panel materials, particularly where access is restricted or space is limited.

Powered by an onboard battery system, the machine is equipped with a hydraulically controlled 3D lifting head that allows smooth, precise load manipulation. It offers full 180° powered rotation, a 90° powered tilt for vertical alignment, and a manual boom slew of 22° in either direction. In addition, the head itself can slew 90° left or right under power, enabling accurate placement of panels from multiple approach angles. With a maximum lift height of 2.9 metres, the Geko 500 is well suited to lifting from ground level and positioning loads exactly where required.

The glazing robot runs on pneumatic rubber tyres, allowing it to move confidently across uneven surfaces, while an integrated powered side-shift provides fine positional control during installation. Suitable for tasks such as curtain walling, canopy glazing, and internal or external glass fitting, this used Geko 500 offers a compact and efficient alternative to larger lifting equipment or manual handling on site.
